WVU Tech Athletic and Golden Bear Athletic Club to Host Reverse Raffle June 30th in Charleston

Montgomery, WV –
The WVU Tech Athletic Department and Golden Bear Athletic Club will be hosting the 14th annual Reverse Raffle at the Embassy Suites in downtown Charleston June 30th. The event this year will feature special guest speaker, Marshall Athletic Director, Mark Hamrick and will be emceed by WCHS’ Mark Martin. The GBAC and Tech Athletic Department are again proud to announce that the Raffle that will again be giving away over $7,000 in cash and other prizes to its participants. MORE >>>
WVU Tech Appoints Jenna Lehmann as Head Women’s Basketball Coach

Montgomery, WV –
WVU Tech has announced the appointment of Jenna Lehmann as the new Golden Bear Women’s Basketball Coach. Lehmann comes to Tech after Assistant Coaching stints at DePaul University, Charleston Southern University and Stetson University before serving as an Assistant Coach under Bob Lindsay at Kent State for the past six seasons.
“We are thrilled to have Jenna take over the reins of our women’s basketball program,” said Pergolizzi. “Jenna has great experience in a number of quality programs and brings great knowledge and enthusiasm to our campus. I am confident that she will pick up right where Jim Fout left off in continuing to build Golden Bear Women’s Basketball.” MORE>>>
WVU Tech’s Gary Joshway Selected to the 4th Annual College Fanz Senior Classic’s American Team

Montgomery, WV –
Golden Bear standout, Gary Joshway has been selected to participate in the 2010 College Fanz Senior Classic. Joshway will join nine fellow Mid-South conference teammates on the American roster on April 24th in Salina, KS.
“I feel that my experience here (at Tech) has prepared me for my future,” said Joshway. “I have always had dreams and ambitions to play professionally and being selected to the 2010 College Fanz Senior game allows me another opportunity to realize those dreams.” MORE >>>
WVU Tech Appoints Crystal Dye as Head Women’s Soccer Coach

Montgomery, WV –
The Golden Bear Athletic Department has appointed Crystal Dye as the new head Women’s Soccer Coach. Coach Dye comes to WVU Tech after coaching stints at the University of Findley, Urbana University and the University of Pitt-Johnstown.
