West Virginia University Tech’s Andrea Arias and Georgetown College’s Andi Wilhoit are the Mid-South Conference Women’s Soccer Players of the Week.

The final conference weekly award of the season is Arias’ third and the first of the season for Wilhoit.

Arias recorded 17 saves in two wins last week to earn MSC Defensive Player of the Week. The Bagota, Columbia junior goalkeeper stopped four shots in a 2-0 shutout win over University of Rio Grande.

She followed with 13 saves in a 2-1 double overtime win over Campbellsville University in the first round of the MSC playoffs.

West Virginia Tech is 9-5-3 on the season following the two wins. Tech faces top-seed Lindsey Wilson College in the MSC Tournament semifinal on Thursday.
