Tech Baseball has 3 Earn Mid- South Honors
Montgomery, WV –
Three members of the WVU Tech baseball team received all conference recognition this weekend. Freshman Ryan Kessinger (Covington, VA) and senior Jeff Krauklis (Clay, WV) were named All Mid-South Conference honorable mention for the 2010 season, voted on by the coaches. Sophomore Chris Barnett (Proctorville, OH) received academic honors.

Rio Bounces Golden Bears from MSC Tournament
Montgomery, WV –
The 2010 season came to an end over the weekend for the Golden Bear baseball team when they were swept by the Rio Grande RedStorm in a best two-of-three series. The Golden Bears came in as a 7 seed and the Red Storm as a 2 seed finishing the year 41-8. MORE >>>
Golden Bears Split with Salem Baseball
Montgomery, WV –
The Golden Bear baseball split a mid-week double header against former WVIAC rival Salem International Wednesday. The Golden Bears, who finished 7th in the Mid-South Conference, were using these games as preparation for their playoff series this weekend against Rio Grande. The winner of the RedStorm/Golden Bear match up will advance to the conference semi-finals. MORE>>>
Kessinger Earns Mid-South Player of the Week Honors
Montgomery, WV –
Freshman Ryan Kessinger has earned Mid South Conference Player of the Week honors for the week of April 26th. The Covington, VA native is the first Golden Bear to win the honor since Pete Vandenbout won it in April of 2009. Kessinger joins Campbellsvilles’ Spencer Frantz as conference players of the week.
